For Jack Reacher being invisible has become a habit.
He spends his days digging swimming pools by hand and his nights as the bouncer in the local strip club in the Florida Keys.
He doesn’t want to be found.
But someone has sent a private detective to seek him out. Then Reacher finds the guy beaten to death with his fingers sliced off. It’s time to head north and work out who is trying to find him and why.
So far we haven’t had anyone from Reacher’s past introduced to us but now, in the third book, we do finally get to meet someone that knew Jack before the books started.
It’s interesting for this person to have such a prominent role in the book when we haven’t really heard about them before.
This book was similar to the rest of the books that I’ve read so far in the Reacher series.
Something happens, Jack gets involved, he sorts it out and then everything’s ok again for a while.
But that doesn’t mean that I didn’t like the book.
I am only on the third book so far but I know that I will be reading the rest of them,
